"The Explorer:s" dares to venture into the unknown in order to discover new perspectives. An interdisciplinary performance of dance, video and music slows down our perception and invites us to an exceptional underground atmosphere. This side-specific piece was made for the festival "Interventionen II", hosted and organized by Freie Tanz- & Theaterszene Stuttgart.

Jukebox 2.0

A production for Tanzszene Baden-Württemberg as part of the outreach program "Tanz in der Fläche". Spectators have to activate short dance performances to enjoy different choreographic scenes. Within 20 minutes "Jukebox 2.0" conveys the variety of contemporary dance to new audiences.

Within 18 fragments "Small Town Boy" portrays life as a homosexual in a heternormativ world. The youth theater group "Junge Bühne Sindelfingen" brings this play as a dance theater production to its' local theater. Originally created by Falk Richter for Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin.

The public influences the course of the performance by selecting program numbers on a touch pad. The performer reacts immediately and creates a total work of art using video, dance and theater.

"You might be one swipe away from your dream partner." The suggestive tone of today's dating apps inspired me to translate our perfectly crafted profiles and honest relationship difficulties into an artwork of cinematic contemporary dance. We increasingly forget how to connect. We barely touch. Yet, we judge and swipe away people by the second.
Chiyo is a young woman with beautiful eyes, a kind heart and ambitious dreams.Her name stands for “a thousand generations”. She is a master of transformation and her smallest expression unlocks an entire kingdom of imagination in one's mind. Her subtlety is magical and makes the experience of watching so distinctively powerful.
feels like: Howl's Moving Castle, Memoirs of a Geisha
'Eine kleine Weisheit' shows a young man in continuous activity. A ticking clock is building up to a strong force that urges the young dancer to a point of absolute exhaustion.
I've made this piece as a comment on today's pressure of constantly optimizing oneself.
